FINAL JUDGMENT · DETAIL · DELIVERY
The last decisions before release.
Human-led professional mastering for approved mixes that need the final degree of judgment, translation and quality control before they leave the studio and enter the world.

Finish the record without losing the mix.
Mastering begins when the mix is finished. It evaluates the song as a complete stereo program and makes final decisions about tonal balance, dynamics, level, sequencing and delivery.
A good master should support the identity of the mix, help it translate across listening environments and prepare the correct files for its intended release. It should not be expected to rebuild an arrangement or repair major balance problems that remain inside the mix.
If the kick, vocal, bass or another element needs individual adjustment, mixing—or a mix revision—is the appropriate stage.
Judgment, not a preset.
Automated tools can analyze audio and produce a result quickly. Professional mastering adds context, judgment and communication. A human mastering process can consider the genre, arrangement, references, release plan and the reasons behind the mix decisions.
It can also identify when the best mastering decision is to request a mix correction instead of forcing a technical workaround onto the stereo file.
Made for the music. Prepared for the platform.
Streaming services may normalize playback level, encode audio into different formats and apply their own delivery requirements. That does not mean every release should be mastered to one universal number.
The master should balance musical impact, dynamics, tonal character and technical headroom according to the material. Platform practices can change, so delivery recommendations should be checked against current official guidance when the release is prepared.
Ready for wherever it goes next.
The delivery package depends on the release. It may include a high-resolution final master, a streaming/distribution master, alternate instrumental or clean masters when supplied and agreed, a DJ, club or performance version when supplied and agreed, and additional format versions required by the confirmed release plan.
Mixing vs mastering
Mixing shapes the relationship between the individual elements of a production. Mastering shapes and prepares the approved final mix as a complete piece of audio.

Process
From brief to delivery.
- 1
Upload your final mix
Send the approved mix in the requested format. Include an unmastered version without temporary loudness processing unless that processing is an essential creative part of the sound.
- 2
Share references and release information
Explain the intended release, relevant references, format requirements and any concerns about the current mix.
- 3
Mastering and quality control
We evaluate the mix, complete the mastering work and check the resulting file for the agreed use.
- 4
Review
You receive the review master through the agreed delivery method. Feedback should distinguish mastering preferences from mix changes that require a new mix export.
- 5
Final delivery
After approval, the final master and any agreed alternate formats are delivered with clear version names.
