What cookies are

Cookies are small pieces of data stored in your browser. Some are required for a site to function; others help us understand usage or measure marketing performance. "Local storage" works similarly and is what we use to remember your cookie choice itself.

The categories we ask about

• Necessary — always active. Covers strictly required storage, such as remembering the cookie choice you made, so we don't ask again on every visit. Cannot be switched off, and we don't use it for tracking.
• Analytics — off until you allow it. Controls Google's analytics_storage signal for Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager. Helps us see, in aggregate, which pages are used and whether the contact form is completed.
• Marketing — off until you allow it. Controls Google's ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization signals together, for any advertising-measurement tags configured in our Google Tag Manager container. Marketing cookies are only set if this category is enabled and a marketing tag is actually configured to fire.

Google consent mode v2

We use Google Consent Mode v2 alongside Google Tag Manager (GTM-N3CKLTRZ) and Google Analytics 4 (G-V71ZH5F4DV). Before you make a choice, analytics_storage, ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization all default to "denied," and Google's tags run in a reduced, cookieless measurement mode. The moment you accept, reject or customize your choice, we send an updated consent signal to Google's tags on that same page — no page reload or navigation required — and the relevant tags start (or stay) behaving accordingly. Necessary, security-related storage is always allowed, since it is required for basic site operation and is not a tracking cookie.

Cookie-free analytics

Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights, used to monitor site performance and approximate traffic, are cookie-free by design and are not covered by the categories above because they don't require your consent to run.

How your choice is stored

Your consent decision is saved in your browser's local storage as a small record containing only your category choices (true/false) and the date you made them — no personal information. It is tied to a version number; if we materially change what we ask consent for, that version changes and the banner appears again so you can decide with current information.

Changing your choice

Use the "Cookie Settings" link in the site footer at any time to reopen your preferences, review what each category does, and save a new choice — which takes effect immediately. You can also clear your browser's local storage and cookies to reset your choice entirely, which will show the banner again on your next visit.
